About Melissa Wallace, PhD, CPDT-KA

Melissa lives in Grand Bay, Alabama enjoying her retirement from her first career. She is the owner of PAWS-GC, providing classes in a variety of dog sports and hosting Sanctioned Teacup Dog Agility Association trials. She has been training dogs and handlers for over 13 years working with all ages of handlers and all types of dogs. Melissa teaches a variety of classes/private lessons and workshops/seminars for both the competitor and non-competitor. Melissa has been a member of several performance dog clubs and served as a board member and Co-Director of Training for one of these clubs. She is currently a board member of the American Treibball Association and serves on the competition committee. She is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed, Certified Teacup Dog Agility Association (TDAA) Judge, Certified American Treibball Trainer (CATT) and Judge, a Certified Trick Dog Instructor (CTDI), and an AKC Agility Course Test, Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and Tricks Evaluator. She is a professional member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT). She brings her extensive experience as a judge, board member, and ongoing continuing education to all her endeavors. Melissa trains her own Chihuahuas in agility, teacup agility, treibball, tracking, rally, obedience, nosework, barn hunt, and tricks. She is a frequent competitor in several of these sports in multiple venues and travels around the country to compete. I love teaching and am always open to feedback. Come join us for some fun!
